| After the funeral has taken place, many people are at a loss as
to how to handle matters, such as social security, insurance policies,
dealing with creditors, probating wills and other concerns.
We have tried to make this process easier by having a representative
of the funeral home to call and make an appointment with you to
help with questions that arise. While we do not give legal advice,
we are able to provide you with information to help you in settling
these concerns.
Also as part of our after care program, we will give you an hour
of counseling with a professional counselor for grief therapy
if you or any family member feels the need for such counseling.
There is no charge for the first hour of counseling and you are
not required to have additional counseling but may make arrangements
for additional counseling if you feel it necessary. Additionally,
you are invited free of charge, to attend support group meetings
held once per month at A. S. Turner and Sons. A. S. Turner and
Sons offer this program in association with Maximum Living Bereavement
Aftercare Services. If you would like to attend a meeting, please
contact us at 404-292-1551. Not only is this service provided
for families served by A. S. Turner and Sons but is open to any
member of the public who would care to take advantage of bereavement
education and counseling services.
We make no charge for our aftercare program and provide it is
a public service. We want you to know that we do not consider
the arrangements complete until we have helped you in any manner
that we can.
