A.S. Turner & Sons has made a commitmet to the needs of your family as you deal with the pain associated with loss. As a part of our services to you we offer berevement support through the Care and Counseling Center of Georgia. Our Strength in Numbers Support Group meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month located at 1814 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033.  There are no costs to attend this group and all family members are welcome.  You may contact us at any time at 404-292-1551 to inquire about attending.

 

If you would like additional support, a Weekly Grief Support Group meets at Oak Grove UMC each Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.  The group is for individuals who have experienced loss and are looking for a community of support.  The cost is free and you may contact Stephanie Foxman at sfoxman@cccgeorgia.org or 404-636-1457 ext.421 with questions or directions.

Care and Counseling Center of Georgia is dedicated to provide the highest quality of care. Grief Share

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

The Compassionate Friends

Whether your family has had a child die (at any age, from any cause), or you are trying to help those who have gone through this life-altering experience, The Compassionate Friends exists to provide friendship, understanding, and hope to those going through the natural grieving process. Through a network of more than 625 chapters with locations in all fifty states, as well as Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, The Compassionate Friends has been supporting bereaved families after the death of a child for four decades.
