Charles Alan Mcclure Sr

Charles Alan McClure, 67, of Tucker, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Decatur Hospital after suffering from an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons with interment to follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends and family members will be received from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the funeral home. Mr. Alan McClure was born on August 25, 1950 in Beeville, Texas to the late Gabriel Russell and Mary McClure. He graduated from Tucker High School in 1968. He was a retired optical technician for Lombart Instruments. Mr. McClure was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gabriel Russell “Rusty” McClure Jr. He is survived by his wife Brenda Chewning McClure of Tucker; daughter and son-in-law Kristie and Mark Montello of Tucker; grandchildren John, Mark, and Mary Evelyn Montello; son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Sharon McClure of Jefferson; grandchildren Calia and Violet McClure.
