Gerard John Lupa was born on July 10, 1956 in Chicago, IL. Survived by mother Dolores Ross (William) and preceded in death by father Joseph B. Lupa. Married Julia Suzanne Ball in 1984 and beloved father of Andrea Lupa Fyke (Adam), John Roman Lupa, Joseph Gerard Lupa and Robert Joseph Kave. Also survived by five siblings: brothers Ronald “Ronnie” and Michael “Mickey” (Cynthia) and sisters Doreen (James), Judith “Judy” (Juan) and Renee (Gary); and a large loving extended family. Two brothers preceded him in death: James Jay and Joseph Roman. Awarded his Juris Doctorate and spent his career in private practice. Enjoyed photography, creating art, disc golf, camping, biking, sports and coaching his kids along with spending time with his family and friends. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA. Funeral services to be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn, GA. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Muscular Dystrophy Association at mda.org. Condolences may be made at www.asturner.com.
