Harold Adolphus Suddeth

October 28, 1923 — September 17, 2017

Harold A. Suddeth, 93 passed away peacefully at his home in Jonesboro, Ga surrounded by his family and loved ones. Born October 28, 1923, in Atlanta, Ga, he was the son of the late James A. Suddeth and Flora Toney Suddeth. Harold worked most of his working years for the Atlanta Army Depot. After retiring from the Federal Government, Harold continued his working career with the State of Georgia. He enjoyed fishing, camping and was a master of horseshoes and checkers.

Harold will be forever remembered by three children, Sandra Suddeth Almand and her husband, Joseph Almand, Douglas Suddeth and his wife, Carol New, and Dewey Suddeth and his wife, Carole Villeneuve; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Swaney Suddeth.
In lieu of flowers, Harold’s family requests donations be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Dr., McDonough, GA 30253, 678 583 0717.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 12 PM to 2 PM at A.S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Rd, Decatur, Ga 30033 followed immediately by a Chapel service.
