Marion O. Sharp

Marion O. Sharp, 96, of Decatur passed away on Friday May 19, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Sharp and his brother, Raymond Sharp.

He was a charter member and former deacon of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church in Decatur and was a retired salesman with Transcon Freight Line.

He is survived by his special niece and caregiver, Deborah White of Lula; niece, Pat Harrison and grand-nephew, Mitch Little, both of Atlanta and several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday May 20 at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 4:30 pm at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Fred Pitts officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in his memory may be sent to Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, 1995 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033. A. S. Turner & Sons
