Mary Burt Bell

Mrs. Mary Burt Bell, age 76, of Atlanta died Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Born in Atlanta April 18, 1940, she was the daughter of John Franklin and Elizabeth Branan Burt. She was a member of Latham United Methodist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. She was a graduate of Druid Hills High School and the University of Georgia where she was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority.

A school teacher and a lover of animals, she is survived by her husband, Charles L. Bell, of Atlanta; son, Franklin Bell and his wife, Deanna, of Birmingham, Alabama; and several cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M. with funeral services to be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, April 15th, in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow services at Decatur Cemetery.
