Martin Alexander Mckinnon

Martin Alexander McKinnon, 64, of Decatur, passed away June 3, 2015. Born March 11, 1951, in Fulton County, he was the son of the late Thomas Johnson, Jr. and Edna Jeanette Green McKinnon. A strong, nurturing, family man, Martin devoted his life to his wife and children. He enjoyed instilling knowledge, inspiring children, and working for 16 years with the City Schools of Decatur. Mr. McKinnon is survived by his wife, Charlene Beard; son, Thomas "Mac" Johnson McKinnon, III; daughter, Marjory Azalee McKinnon; sister, Constance and husband, Jim Hope; brother, David and wife, Lovella McKinnon; daughter-in-law, Pamela Feltman; granddaughter, Aria Skye McKinnon; and many more loving family and friends. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, the family will receive friends 2 hours prior from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Road Decatur, GA 30033.
