Sylvia Catherine Ross

Sylvia Catherine Strider Ross, 68, of Atlanta, beloved wife and mother, passed away January 2, 2016. Born in Charlotte, NC, January, 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Webb Strider. In 1982 assisting her husband, James Stephens Ross, they opened their business, Ross Unlimited. Sylvia enjoyed cooking, reading, music, arts and crafts, animals, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Stephanie Ross; her beloved family friend, William "Gene" Wood and his wife, Donna; sisters, Judy and Frieda; brother, Denny; and many more family and friends. In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, James Ross I; son, James Ross, II; and brother, Michael Strider.

Funeral services will be private.
