Vera Mae Keith

Vera Mae Dobbs Keith, 94, of McDonough, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017. Born June 17, 1923, in Hawkinsville, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Nancy Sue Thompson Dobbs. Vera enjoyed playing Bingo and going on cruises.

She is survived by her siblings, Ruby Mobley, Ivan Dobbs, and Errus Jennings; and many more loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Robert Hulon Hickman.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18 at A.S. Turner & Sons. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with Chaplain Sharon White officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery.
