Kathleen Hughes

Kathleen Hughes was born on July 29, 1961, to Naomi and Willie Sims. She was the third of six children born to this union.

Kathleen was a loving mother to her three children, Shaneka, Deon, and Lorryce. She later met and married Anthony Hughes, and through this union gained bonus children whom she loved and cared for as her own.

Kathleen was known for her beautiful smile, kind spirit, and big heart. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, love, and generosity.

On May 18, 2026, Kathleen entered into eternal rest, reunited with her beloved husband, sister, and mother.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her children; grandchildren; father; sister; brothers; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many dear friends whose lives she impacted deeply.
