Mercer Thomas Roberson Sr.

Born to Romie Lee & Virginia Oliver Roberson in Macon, GA.

Mr. Roberson is preceded in death by both his parents and his younger brother Kendall Lee Roberson "Ken".

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Wray Roberson "Pat" of 63 years, his son Tom Roberson (Kim), daughter Pam Phillips (Bryan), five grandchildren; Callahan Roberson (Kristi), Alston Roberson (Constance), Lauren Roberson, Owen Phillips (Deanna), and Haley Schirner (Bryon), three great-grandchildren; Nola, Nayvee, and Andy (born 8/9/26). Additionally, he is survived by his sister- in-law, Betty Glover and many nieces and nephews.

Mercer Roberson was an Independent Sales Representative in the Residential Lighting Industry for many years, retiring in 2010 after a very successful career.He was an active member of the American Lighting Association. As a couple, they went on many company trips including London, Hong Kong, Thailand, Spain, France, Ireland and Hawaii to name a few. There were many additional trips to the bi-annual International Lighting Market in Dallas, TX for business, a little pleasure, and the opportunity to visit with the many industry friends.

Mr. Roberson proudly served his country in the U. S. Army both Active Duty and Reserves for 8 years. He enjoyed spending time at Lake Sinclair, teaching boating, fishing, water skiing, and generally how to enjoy life on the water along with many life lessons of family, love, and hard work.
