Obituary for Adrienne Louise Grifferty

Adrienne Louise Grifferty, 81, of Atlanta, passed away December 28, 2017, after a brief illness. Born December 30, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Sullivan and Minnie Kuck Sullivan. Adrienne graduated from Fordham University and taught elementary school at Cambridge Central School for 33 years.

She is survived by her children: James Grifferty and Ann Gauthier and her husband, Claude; step-daughter, Pamela Goodwin and her husband, Peter; and grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah, Joseph, Katelin, Daniel, and Aidan.

In addition to her parents, Adrienne was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Jerome Grifferty; her sons: Paul and Stephen; and daughter-in-law, Katherine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, at St. Patrick's Church in Cambridge, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Smile or the Humane Society.
