Cecilia Rigby Raxter

CECILIA RIGBY RAXTER passed away on Friday, January 25, succumbing finally to the Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease with which she had been afflicted since she was in her early fifties, more than a dozen years ago. She died peacefully and did not appear to suffer from any pain or other discomfort. She is survived by her sister, Stuart Rigby Clem of Bedford, KY, her two brothers, Howard Cecil Rigby, Jr., of Liberty, SC, and Gregory Sharpe Rigby, of Fort Mill, SC, her three nieces, Jenna Catherine Clem Mattingly, of Prospect, KY, Victoria Kristine Rigby, of Orlando, FL, and Katherine Amanda Rigby, of Fort Mill, SC, and her life partner/best friend Charles Rankin Hubert, of Tucker, GA. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033, (404)292-1551. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
