Marquise Unrico Turner

Words cannot express the sadness that was experienced with the unexpected passing of Marquise Turner on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the young age of 20. He was silent by nature, vibrant with unseen possibilities, and loved by everyone who knew him. Although we do not know why our Lord called upon Marquise at this time in his life, we are comforted in knowing that He is by Marquise’s side and guiding his path into everlasting life. Marquise was an honor student and graduate of Eagles Landing Christian Academy, class of 2015. During his high school years, Marquise was a member of the Mu Alpha Theta society, part of ECLA’s cross country and track team and an enthusiastic participant to the Mighty Chargers Football team. At the time of his passing, Marquise was seeking to expand his horizon and further his education at the University of West Georgia, studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Involved with living and learning about life, Marquise was single and left no children behind. He does leave behind the love of his parents, Cyril and Alicia Turner; three brothers: Christian Turner, Marquise Pierre, and Cyril Turner Jr.; and two sisters: Lashay Turner and Alyssa Turner. Marquise was preceded in death by his grandmother, Suzanne Hosch and uncle, Munrico Hosch, whom we know are forever with him at this time. Marquise also leaves his grandmother, Norma Turner; grandfathers, Ronnie Hosch and Alvin Turner; aunts, LeKeesha Hosch, Nadine Higgins, Diane Turner, Nicolette Turner, and Delia Darby; uncles, Ronnie Hosch aka Lil Ronnie, Cornel Turner, Selasie Turner; as well as multiple cousins, great cousins, great aunts, great uncles, and friends.
As we are mourning the loss of Marquise, our inspiration and motivation, we ask for prayers and continued strength in the days, months, and years to come
A Celebration of Marquise’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at1:00 PM at Riverside Baptist Church in Decatur, Ga.
