Albert B. Wilson, age 94, was born and reared in Philadelphia, PA. In 1945 he enlisted in the US Army and served in Germany for several years. He was honorably discharged, and re-enlisted in Dec., 1947 and served another year. From Dec. 1948 to 1952 he served in the US Army Reserves. He retired from Civil Service where he served as a Radar Technician & Instructor. His wife of 50 years, Gladys E. Wilson, predeceased him in 2009. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Martha (Sprott) King, Bowling Green, KY and Mrs. Carol S. (Bob) Gardner, Decatur; son, Mr. Frederick (Elisabeth) Wilson, Alpharetta; grandchildren, Mrs. Julie Ann (Jim) Bragg, Bowling Green, KY, Mr. R. Michael (Amanda) Scott, Spanish Fort, AL, Mrs. Madeleine W. (Mark) Hoialmen, Cumming, Mrs. Margaret G. (Richard) Palmer, Brunswick, and Howard H. Gardner of Stone Mountain; 4 great grandchildren, William M. Hollis, Olivia Ann Brag, Scarlett Scott and Wyatt Hoialmen. Funeral services will be held at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, July 31 at 1 P.M, with Rev Joel Tolbert and Rev. Dudley Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rehoboth Presbyterian Church, 2729 Lawrenceville Highway, Decatur, GA 30033. The family will receive friends 6-8 Monday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
