Allen M. Pierce, Jr.

Mr. Allen Miles Pierce, Jr. of Atlanta, formerly of Orange Beach, AL. died Friday, June 17, 2005 at age 89. He was a World War II veteranserving in the U.S. Navy and was retired from Delta Airlines in Atlanta. Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Ward Pierce and his sister, Muriel Pierce. He is survived by his son, A. Miles Pierce III and his wife Terri of Orange Beach, AL; daughter, Connie Pierce of Decatur, GA; grandsons, Allen Pierce IV, and Trevor Pierce of Orange Beach, AL.; granddaughters, Katherine Moore and Edget Gebremeskel, both of Decatur, GA.; nieces Betty Williford of Atlanta, GA. and Martha Hunter of Tiger, GA. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 22nd at Resthaven Cemetery, time to be determined. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21st at A. S.
