Ann Bond

Vesta Ann Bond 82, of Atlanta, GA. died July 12, 2022. “Ann" was a loving mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.  She is survived by her two sons, Kelly Dwayne Corpening and Robbie Lynwood Corpening and daughter Aleesa Ann Talmadge; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren . Ann was preceded in death by her daughter Ellen D'rea Corpening and ex-husband John Kelly Corpening. Ann grew up in Mississippi, where she attended McLain High School and was voted most popular and FFA Sweetheart 2 years in a row.  She took business classes and worked for First Bank of Mobile after graduation.  Ann loved the gulf coast and New Orleans where she spent much of her childhood.  She loved sewing, baking, painting, and arranging flowers. She was an avid animal lover and had an amazing sense of humor.  She was known for her fun personality, positive outlook, and loving spirit. She will be always be held in our hearts and greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at AS Turner & Sons on Wednesday, July 27th 5-7 pm.
