Annette W. Braselton

Annette Woods Braselton, 78, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016. Born May 4, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Woods and Mary Shealy Woods. Annette graduated from Decatur High School and went on to Emory University where she earned her Bachelor's degree and continued on to Stetson University earning her Master's degree. She served as an educator for the Brevard County Schools for 40 years.

Annette is survived by her two nephews, David Middour, and his wife, Christine, and Stephen Middour and his wife, Elizabeth; four great nephews, Owen, Thomas, Will, and Ben Middour; great niece Ava Middour; two great-great nieces, Madeline and Abigail Middour; cousins, Nancy Shealy, Irene Haight, Peggy Forsberg, and Dr. Frank Lake; brother-in-law, Donald Middour; her loving dog, Baby Girl; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Middour.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. James Brewer-Calvert officiating. A graveside service will follow at Decatur Cemetery.
