CLAY - Annie
Annie Geneva Long Clay of Decatur, Georgia, was received into the hands of the Lord on Sunday, December 16, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James F. Clay; her sons, Doug Brumbelow and Rusty Clay; her son-in-law, David Smith; and her grandchildren, Louis Lafferty and Leslie Brumbelow. She is survived by 2 daughters, Marlene Smith of Louisiana, Brenda and Billy Long of Decatur, son, Ricky and Linda Clay of Snellville, daughters-in-law, Mary Ann Brumbelow of McDonough, and Susan Clay of Jefferson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Annie was a member of the former Warsaw Methodist Church in Duluth and will be laid to rest in the Historic Warsaw Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warsaw Cemetery and Church Preservation Association, Inc., 4605 Wickford Circle, Roswell, GA 30075, website www.warsawcemetery.com. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Robert Powers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
