Annie Moseley Clay

Mrs. Annie Ruth Clay, age 86, of Decatur died Saturday, March 10, 2007.  She was a charter member of Corinth Baptist Church and a life-time resident of Dekalb County.  Mrs. Clay is preceded in death by her husband, Henry P. Clay and her son, Alan Henry Clay.  She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Joyce Blalock and her husband Melton of Grayson, Mrs. Darlene Tarleton and her husband, Billy of Hampton, and Patricia Armstrong and her husband Eddy of Canton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Emmett Moseley, Gene and Shirley Moseley, Jimmy and June Moseley; sister, Shirley Lucas, 10 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 12th at Corinth Baptist Church.  Rev. Dewey Childers will officiate.  The body will lie in state from 10:30 to 11:00 at the church.  Interment will be at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
