Anthony Jon Stanton

Mr. Anthony J. "Tony" Stanton, 50, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013. He was born in Atlanta to John and Helga Stanton. Tony, and his brother Jerry owned Stanton Electric Company in Buford. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 25 years; Donna Stanton; son, Jonathan Stanton; daughter Elissa Stanton; parents, John and Helga Stanton; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Bill Lewis; brothers and sister-in-laws, Tommy and Renee Stanton, Jerry and Amy Stanton and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 19th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Monsignor Paul Fogarty officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday October 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons. Funeral Home.
