Arthur Gary Pelham

Arthur Gary Pelham, 66, of Jonesboro passed away suddenly on Monday January 6, 2014. He was born on August 31, 1947 at Emory University Hospital to Jane Willis Pelham Doyle and the late Donald Grayson Pelham. Gary attended Brown High School in Atlanta. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army, serving for many years. He is survived by his mother, Jane Pelham Doyle and step-father James R. Doyle; brother, Donald Grayson and Deborah Pelham of Palmetto, GA; sister, Debra M. Hayes of California; step-brother, James J. and Janet Doyle; step-sister, Teresa K. Poole and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Sunday January 12, at 2pm in the chapel of AS Turner and Sons with interment to follow in Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at AS Turner and Sons Funeral Home, Decatur.
