Barbara Ann Lipski, age 92, died peacefully Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at her home in Decatur, GA.
Born October 30, 1925 to Frank and Martha Fussell, Barbara was a life-long resident of the Atlanta area. She was a member of the Emory Auxiliary, after her retirement from over 25 years at the Internal Revenue Service.
Barbara was a true Southern Belle, who never met a stranger and was loved by all. She loved playing cards, socializing, good food, and more than anything, spending time with her friends and family. She loved animals, and was also an amazing cook.
She is survived by her son (Bill) and daughter (Lynn), as well as two nieces (Lee and Barbie). She is also survived by her granddaughter (Kelly; Husband- Jason), a grandson (Brad; Wife- Chessie) and five great-grandchildren (Gabe, Riley, Wes, Lily, and Nathan).
She was preceded in death by her son (David) and brother (Ben; Wife- Vi).
A memorial service in her honor will be held at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Rd. Decatur, GA., at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
