Betty Jean Horne

Betty Jean Horne passed away at the age of 88 on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. She was last known for driving the bus for DeKalb County. She enjoyed reminiscing about the children on the bus. She was an advid animal lover. She would quite often say she loved animals better than people. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada and James Patch, along with her brother James Patch. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Pinkard, her children; Gloria Myers, Steve Schroeder, David Pozza, Cynthia Bowman, Patricia Carter, along with her nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren. And her beloved cat. The family will receive friends on Monday February 17, 2020 at 11:00 am at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA followed immediately by a graveside service at Melwood Cemetery.
