Bettye Jennings Hipkins

Bettye Jennings Hipkins, 80, of Decatur, died February 19, 2011, after a short illness with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Hope Jennings, husband, Bill Hipkins, granddaughter, Margaret Knowles and great granddaughter, Cari Dembrosky. Mrs. Hipkins is survived by her children, Claudia and Sam Wilson of Lawrenceville, Cyndi and Donnie Pergantis of Loganville, Carole and Doug Leming of Loganville, Chris Knowles of Dallas GA and Jeff Hipkins of Decatur. She was Meemaw to 16 beloved grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many extended family and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Hipkins will be held 11 am, Tuesday, February 22, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, with Dr. Larry Amos and Rev. Ellen Hopkins officiating. Interment, Dawn Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends 2-4 and 6-8 Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
