Beverly Beacham Lucas

Beverly Beacham Lucas died peacefully on February 12, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 90. Beverly is survived by her son Ronald, daughter Cathy, brother Franklin, and four grandchildren, Kristen, Dylan, Jackson and Brayden. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lucas, Sr. Beverly was born on December 1, 1927 in Savannah, Georgia to Ansel and Marian Beacham. She graduated from Duke University in 1950 with a degree in Nursing. She was a dedicated nurse, wife, mother, and friend who loved the Lord and found immense joy and fulfillment in serving others. She had many talents, gourmet cooking (especially making beautiful cakes) carving, painting, needle work just to name a few. She enjoyed life to the fullest and always loved to learn and experience new things. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16th at 11:00 am at Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. All are welcome to attend. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church, 3142 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084. A.S.
