Birdie Shaw Starling

Mrs. Birdie Shaw Starling, 91, of Atlanta died Friday, April 18, 2008.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Becky Starling; daughter, Brenda Starling Davis; grandchildren, Kenneth E. Starling, Jr., Vaughn Hughes Starling, John Robert Starling, Catherine Starling Preston, Thomas Marshall Starling, Cara Duffi Davis; and thirteen grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 20, 2008 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Larry Sullivan officiating.  Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peachtree Christian Hospice, 3430 Duluth Park Lane, Duluth, GA  30096.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
