Brenda Gaile Partin

Brenda Gaile Wilson Partin, age 67, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Hospice Atlanta. She graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in 1962. She was a life-long member of Stewart Avenue United Methodist Church, where she volunteered as secretary, florist, and was a member of the choir until she became too ill to continue. She retired as a legal secretary from Invesco, where she worked for many years. Mrs. Partin loved working outdoors in her flower garden and keeping the yard beautiful. She was a lover of her many cats and often fed the neighborhood strays as well. She loved helping other people and will be greatly missed by her many friends. She is survived by her daughter, Danita Ludwig; son, Glynn Partin; granddaughters, Madison and Noelle Ludwig; sister, Joyce Crawley; brother, Bradley Wilson, Jr.; niece, Ramona Doverspike; nephew, Mark Crawley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Steve Davidson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stewart Avenue United Methodist Church, 867 Metropolitan Pkwy., S.E., Atlanta, GA 30310. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
