Burrell T. Coggin

Burrell T. Coggin, Sr. of Atlanta died Friday, February 15, 2008.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Nanny Kate Parker Coggin and his son, Burrell T. Coggin, Jr.  He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Georgia and E. A. Minor Lodge #603 F & AM, a member of the Peace Officers Association.  He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Rogers; sisters, Melissa Gibson and Betty Jackson; sisters-in-law, Cordelia Coggin and Vena Coggin; grandchildren, Patsy Blessing, Peggy Morris, Margaret Crawford and Pamela Guevara; a very special niece, Harriett Sager; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Cryptside services will be held at 2 PM Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pines at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 PM Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
