Calhoun Reeves, Jr.

Mr. Calhoun “Rocky” Reeves Jr., 67, passed away Thursday, April 28, at his home in Tucker, GA.

Mr. Reeves was born May 19, 1954, in Georgetown, SC, to Calhoun Reeves Sr. and Rhodie West Reeves. He was a master craftsman and a loving husband and father.

He grew up on Pawleys Island, SC, surrounded by a large family.  He loved the ocean - surfing was a big part of his life, and he loved to recount beach stories from his youth.  In 1987, he moved to Atlanta, GA, to be with his beloved wife, Sally.  Together, they built a life with many great memories, started a family, and attended more NASCAR races than you can shake a stick at.

Mr. Reeves was predeceased by both of his parents and his brother, John Reeves.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Lisle, and his daughter, Lauren Reeves Cox (Andrew).

A visitation and memorial service will be held at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA on Sunday, May 1st at 11:00 am.

The Reverend Dr. Jim Nelson will officiate.
