Carl F. Herring, Jr. of Avondale Estates passed Sunday evening July 31, 2011. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years Elizabeth Clarke Herring. He is succeeded by his children Anne H. Shirley, Carl F. Herring, III, Jeanne H. Giager and their loving families. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 7th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Briarlake Baptist Church; 3715 Lavista Rd. Decatur, GA. 30033. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Heathcare of Atlanta.
