Carole Dubac

Carole Dubac of Atlanta and Ellijay, GA died Saturday, February 7, 2009.  Carole, loving wife, mother and friend, was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and served as commissioner of the Atlanta Regional Commission for 20 years. She is survived by her husband, John C. Dubac of Atlanta; sons, John L. Dubac of Fayetteville, Robert R. Dubac of Telluride, CO; daughter, Debbie Pottinger of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Melissa Evan, Jay Dubac, and Carson Pottinger.  A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at  Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive guests Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons. Carole’s family and friends will remember her as one who always said “Yes” to life.
