Cathy Lou Barfield Holcombe

Cathy Lou Barfield Holcombe passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Hospice Atlanta after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. Cathy was born October 24, 1959, to James and Sue Barfield. She grew up in Hapeville, graduated from Georgia State with a Bachelor Degree in Economics. Cathy was a long term Vice President of Sun Trust Bank. Cathy was an Elder for many years at Stockbridge Presbyterian Church, and the heart and soul of the Education Program. Cathy’s passions included her family, her Sunday School Class and helping other cancer patients. Memorial Service at Stockbridge Presbyterian Church Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 11:00am. Cathy is survived by husband, Rick Holcombe, son Matthew Holcombe, daughter Katie Holcombe, sisters Patsy Walls, Linda Evans, and Anita Walton.
