Charlotte Bowman Cartledge

Mrs. Charlotte Bowman Cartledge, 78 of Atlanta died on July 22, 2011. She was born on January 22, 1933 in Stone Mountain, GA. She's survived by her four children: Joyce Farmer, Jackie Joyner, Mike Bishop and Mark Bishop and one brother Roy R. Bowman. She attended Roosevelt High School and retired from Two- Minute Car Wash as a cashier. For the last six years she resided at the Briarcliff Oaks Retirement Home and was a fixture at their front desk. She greeted visitors and residents alike. A memorial service will be held on Monday July 25, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. Her Great nephew Joseph Roberts will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday. A.S. Turner and Sons is in charge of the arrangements.
