Charlotte Cofer Melton

Charlotte Cofer Melton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 25, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Allen Melton, two daughters and son-in-laws, Beth and Rick Hulsey and Amy and Jerry McEachin; and four grandchildren, Allison Hulsey, Jerry McEachin, Nicholas McEachin, and Zachery McEachin; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Shirley Cofer; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Louise Melton, James and Penny Melton, Linda and Norman Snider, and many other family members. She was born in Decatur GA on September 23, 1937 and resided in the Decatur and Tucker area most of her life. She worked at Rehoboth Baptist Church for 20+ years before retiring. Funeral service will be at Rehoboth Baptist Church, on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Floral Hills. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
