Cheryl Virginia Cole

Cheryl Virginia Cole passed away May 13,2014. Cheryl was born March 11, 1955 to Virginia Green Cole and William W. Cole, Jr. Due to birth injury, we often called Cheryl our littlest angel. When 5 years old, Cheryl went to live at Gracewood in Augusta, Georgia for several years, then moved to Brook Run, and her last years at Skilled Nursing Unit of Georgia Regional - Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her mother, and is survived by her father of Peachtree Corners, Georgia; her brother William Lee Cole (Pam) of Sandy Springs, Georgia; her sisters Katharine Cole Anderson of Cos Cob, Connecticut, Sharon Cole Shepherd (David) of Johns Creek, Georgia, Laura Cole Adams (Gary) of Roswell, Georgia, Nanette Cole McKeon (Bruce) of Milton, Georgia; and 14 nieces and nephews.The family wishes to thank the staff at Georgia Regional for many years of excellent and very loving care. Also thanks to the staff at Halcyon House for a peaceful and caring transition.Services will be held at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Decatur, Georgia on Friday May 16 at 11:00, preceded by family visitation in the church parlor at 10:00. Cheryl will be buried at Westview Cemetery next to her mother.
