Chris (Julian Christian) Burns

Mr. Chris (Julian Christian) Burns of Stone Mountain died Tuesday, May 1, 2007. He was a long time resident of DeKalb County and graduate of Decatur High School. He graduated from Georgia Tech where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega. Mr. Burns served as an officer in the U. S. Air Force and was in partnership with his father in Julian Burns & Associates Real Estate & Property Management. He was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Frances Burns. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Stratford Burns; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Stacey Burns of Decatur, AL and grandchildren, Kailyn and Zachary Burns; son, Gareth Burns of Charlotte, NC; and sisters, Beverly Pinyan of Stone Mountain and Barbara Fowler of Snellville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. at Smoke Rise Baptist Church. Dr. Bob Browning and Dr. Truett Gannon will officiate. The Seekers Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Interment will be in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smoke Rise Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
