Connie Smith Bruce

Mrs. Connie S. Bruce, age 84 passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born January 18, 1932 in Porterdale, GA, Connie met Georgia Tech graduate Arthar Bruce in Atlanta. They married in 1955 and resided with their family in Decatur, GA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years. Connie was a member of Clairmont Hills Baptist church for over 50 years and was a loving mother, mother in law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by children, Diane Bruce Bedell, Mike Bruce (Carol), Chuck Bruce (Lisa); grandchildren, Daniel Bedell, Robert Bedell, Kaylee Rosenberger (Jay), Tanner Bruce, Madison Bruce, Connor Bruce; and great granddaughter, Camdyn Rosenberger. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, 1995 Clairmont Rd., Decatur, GA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Fred Pitts will be officiating.
