Daizye Bell Parker Fletcher

April 6, 1918 — November 15, 2007

Daizye Belle Parker Fletcher, 89, longtime resident of

Avondale Estates and most recently of Decatur passed away November 15, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stell Fletcher, Sr. and her sons, John Stell Fletcher, Jr. and Thomas Parker Fletcher. She is lovingly survived by granddaughters, Holly Marie Fletcher and Maribeth Fletcher Bell and husband, James Frank Bell, III of Atlanta; great grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Bell and James Frank Bell, IV of Atlanta; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Brenau College and a lifetime member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, where she worked for their national headquarters in Atlanta. She retired from the DeKalb County Library System after many years of dedicated service as a librarian. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday, November 17th at 2 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
