Darlene Hollst (Dee) Gibson

Mrs. Delene Hollst "Dee" Gibson, 88 of Monroe, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. She was a member of Briarlake Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years Mr. William Harold Gibson. Survivors are her daughters: Donna (Joe) Weatherby, Shelley (Gary) Taylor, sons: Tim (Vicki) Gibson, David (Jan) Gibson; sister: Jackie Brown, sister in law Marjorie Gibson, 20 Grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 21, 2011 at 2:00PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Monroe. The family will receive friends on Friday May 20, 2011 from 6:00PM-8:00PM and again on Saturday May 21, 2011 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Businessmen's Bible Class Gift and Scholarship Fund at Briarlake Baptist Church, 3715 LaVista Rd., Decatur, GA 30033. A.S. Turner and Sons is in charge of the arrangements.
