Dennis Dodge Odom

Mr. Dennis Dodge Odom, 83 of Decatur GA died Friday October 10, 2014. Mr. Odom graduated from Avondale High School and served with the Marines during the Korean War. He retired from Norfolk / Southern Corp in 1992 after 38 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Josie Elliott Odom of Decatur, GA; his daughter, Cindy Odom Bebout (Brett Bebout) and granddaughter, Katy Bebout of Stockbridge, GA; grandson, Christopher Bebout of Jacksonville, FL; his brother, Frank Odom (Betty Odom) of North Carolina; sisters, Lassie Titshaw of Loganville, GA; Francis Hennington of Lilburn, GA; Janie Randall of Washington; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Monday, October 13 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Dr. Kris Mullis officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday Oct. 12 at A.S. Turner and Sons.
