Dixie Jane Lane

Dixie Jane Lane of Decatur died December 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Curtis Lane; sister, Vera Stinson; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Rhoda Jones, Claude and Bonnie Jones, Ed and Dickie Jones, Speedy and Gladys Jones, and Joe Earle and Blanche Jones. Dixie was raised in Cedar Mountain, NC and for many years spent the summers there. She is survived by daughters, Nancy L. Cadora & husband, Allen of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Jane Lane of Pompano Beach, FL; grandsons, Matt Cadora & wife, Lisa, Scott Cadora & wife, Nicole, Clint Ergle & wife, Patti, Lane Ergle, Blake Ergle & wife, Johanna; sister, Annie Wickcliff; great-grandsons, Wyatt Cadora, Niko Ergle, Tanner Ergle; great granddaughter, Charlotte Cadora. A memorial service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Matt Cadora officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 15, 2012, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
