Dorothy (Dot) Wright Michael

Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Wright Michael passed away June 5, 2007 as a result of a fall. Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Michael; parents, Mr.& Mrs. James Wright; and brothers, Walter, Ralph and Herbert. She is survived by sisters, Margaret and husband W. L. Beavers, Bert Armstrong, Jenny Malone; brother, Marvin L. and wife Hokie Wright; sister-in-law, setty Wright; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends. Dot was an active member of Peachtree Baptist Church and sang in the Sanctuary Choir for 50 years. She loved Missions and vupported them through the Eula Brownlee Group for 50 years. She was an executive Secretary for the F. W. Woolworth Southeastern Regional Office for 50 years. Funeral seivices will be held Friday, June 8th at 2 p.m. at Peachtree Baptist Church, Rev. LeAnn Gunter and Rev. Woody Parish officiating.lBurial will follow in the Peachtree Baptist Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peachtree Baptist Building Fund, 2108 Briarcliff Rd., Atlanta, GA 30329 or your favorite charity. The family will receate.friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
