Dorothy J. Allen, 74, of Decatur, passed away on February 19, 2012. She was a member and former deacon of Oakhurst Baptist Church in Decatur. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy, Pat and Nicki, grandchildren: Michael, Jeremy, Dana and Matthew, step grandchildren: Eric and Katy, Great Grandchildren: Queen, Keonte, Cadarius, and Cahri and a great great grandchild, brothers: Ted, Charles, and Dan; and her Aunt Jessie. A graveside service will be held on Sunday February 26, 2012 at 3:00 PM in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM on Sunday. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Oakhurst Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oakhurst Baptist Church. A.S.
