Dorothy Everitt DeFoor Powell, 88, of Covington, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at her residence, Arbor Terrace, Decatur. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 21 in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Historic Oakland Foundation. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Saturday at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory. A second notice will follow later in the week.
