Dorothy Mccormick

Dorothy Carolyn McCormick of Atlanta died Monday September 22, 2008. She was born November 24, 1959 to Dr. Glenn E. McCormick and Florence Harris McCormick. Ms. McCormick graduated from Briarcliff High School and Georgia Southern College. She was employed in the Travel and Passport Division of CDC. She was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers, Eddie and Steve McCormick. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Bonnie McCormick; sister, Aileen McCormick; and two nephews, Jay McCormick and Israel Christian. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 25^th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30318. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
