Dorothy Oxford

Dorothy Oxford, 92, devoted and loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed into the presence of her Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 14, 2013. The family rejoices that she is at long last free from her illnesses and perfectly well. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmon Oxford; her son, Dennis Oxford; her grandson, Chris Oxford; and her brother, Thurman Gunter. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Dean; her sister, Carolyn Cannon; her grandchildren/grandchildren-in-law, Holly and David Lord, Chad Dean, and Ryan and Leslie Dean; her four great grand-children, Kyle Lord, Evan Dean, Lydia Dean, and Levi Dean. A memorial service celebrating her life and the Gospel will be held in the chapel at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA on Thursday, December 19 at 3pm. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm prior to the service at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
