Dorothy Pendley

Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Pendley, of Clarkston, died Thursday, May 31, 2007.  She retired after 25 years of service from DeKalb County School System and also worked for the City of Clarkston.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pendley.  She is survived by her daughters, Susan D. Pendley and Cicci G. Pendley;  son, John A. Pendley, Jr.; granddaughter, Dorothy Caitlin Pendley, all from Clarkston; and sister, Essie Mae Moore.  Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 2, 2007 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to your favorite charity.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
