Mrs. Dorothy P. Carson, age 86, of Atlanta died Tuesday, July 14, 2009. She retired from Federated Insurance Company after over 20 years of service. Mrs. Carson was preceded in death by her husband, Louis B. Carson; brother, Johnny B. Pritchett; and sister, Mary Helen Broadwell. She was the beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, J. Steven Carson of Atlanta, Louis Carson and his wife Linda of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Sharon Grimes and her husband Patrick, Diane Baker and her husband Craig, Jill Tanner and her husband Mike; and 7 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 17th at 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery, Dr. Larry Burgess officiating.
